A
National Conference on “Corporate Entrepreneurship:
Potential and Prospects” was organized on Jan.22,
2005 . Chief guest Dr. Rajan Jouhree, Chairperson of CII focused
on enterprise flexibility, entrepreneurship and leadership
in his inaugural address. Mr.Sanjeev Sethi, Corporate
Director HR, Hotel-The Imperial in the opening address
talked of accountability at every stage of leadership
in the corporate arena. Eminent intellectual personalities
present on the occasion were Dr. K. Momaya, Asst. Professor,
Indian Institute of Technology, Dr.G. D. Singh, Director,
Apeejay Institute, Mr. Rajendran, CEO Logisoft, Ms.
Divjot Singh, Coordinator CSI-TERI, Dr.Aftab Alam of
Integrated Academy of Management and Technology. The
event also saw participation from leading business schools
- Birla Institute of Technology, Hindu Institute of
Management, Sonepat. Prof. Sandeep Goel & Prof.
B.R.Bharadwaj, wore the crown on the successful completion
of the event.

Festival “Renaissance-2005”
Carrying forward the legacy of BVIMR a two-day Festival
was celebrated inside the campus premises from February
11-12th, 2005. Chief Guest Honourable Dr. A.K. Walia,
Minister of Finance, Govt. of Delhi inaugurated the
event. Mr. Walia emphasized that extra curricular activities
were an integral part of the academics and played an
important role in shaping the overall personality apart
from providing a meeting ground for the students of
different institute. The Guest of honour Mr. Vikram
Sharma, President Baidyanath Group, praised the commendable
efforts set off by the Bharati Vidyapeeth's Family.
Spread
over 2 days, the programs included Vyapar Prashanotri(Quiz),
Anuman (Logo Identification), Vigyapan (Mad Ads on the
spot Advertising Knack) Antakshri ( Musical Competition),
Chehre pe Chehra(Face Painting), Kshadik Vichar (Extempore),
Sur Sangam (Musical Contest), taal se taal Mila (Dance
competition), Vyapar Abhinav (Role Play), Rangshala(
Drama on Management Theme), Vyaktitva (MISS & MR.
Renaissance '05) Dhoom Machale Dhoom (DJ).
Participants included teams from Weigan & Leigh
College, Delhi, Technia Institute of Advance Studies,
Rohini, College of Business Studies, Vivek Vihar, Institute
of Productivity & Management, Meerut, Bharati Vidyapeeth's
College of Engineering, New Delhi and Bharati Vidyapeeth's
Institute of Computer Application, New Delhi apart from
the Host Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of Management
& Research, New Delhi. Prof. Anurag Mittal, the
organizing head, ensured the smooth running of each
event with the help of students convening committees.
Annual
Alumni Meet- MILAP-2005
Annual alumni meet 'MILAP' 2005 was
held on Feb.20, 2005 . Chief guest Mr. J Mehra, Essar
Group lighted the lamp and spoke on the role of values
in the life of a student. Guest of honor Mr. Uday Sahai,
Director, Prasar Bharati spoke about the roots &
wings a student has when he becomes an alumni. All alumni
were introduced to the present batch of students and
souvenirs were presented to each of them by Mr. Uday
Sahai. The programme itenary included cultural items
comprising of dance, dramas, songs, fashion show and
gala lunch. Jam packed hall included media persons,
alumni with their families and present students.
