MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES

A two days long Management Development Programme on Executive Effectiveness during 26-27, November, 2004 was organized for the corporate executives continuing the stride towards harmonizing industry - institute interaction. Hon' Dr. Patangrao ji Kadam, Founder, Bharati Vidyapeeth Family was present to grace the occasion.

A two days workshop on Case Teaching and Research Paper writing was conducted during 4-5 February, 2005 for faculty members of BVIMR, New Delhi & other management Institutes in Delhi by Dr. Venkat Subramanian, Asstt. Professor.

ANOTHER FEATHER IN THE CAP
Dr. S.S. Vernekar, Director BVIMR, New Delhi was conferred with the prestigious ' BEST ACADEMICIAN AWARD' by Amity Business School. The award was presented by Mr. CP Jain (Chairman NTPC) in the presence of Mr. Yoganand Shastri (Health and Welfare Minister) at the International Business HORIZON-INBUSH 2005 Conference held on 23rd & 24th February 2005 at Amity Business School.
A Crest of Honour was presented to Dr. S.S Vernekar for his invaluable contribution as a key note presenter in the International Seminar on 'CHANGING SCENARIO OF SERVICES MARKETING IN THE ERA OF GLOBALIZATION' held from 24th to 26th February 2005, at Rajiv Academy for Technology and Management, Mathura.
Dr. S.S Vernekar also chaired two sessions in the presence of judges Dr. Zakaria Lincoln (President, IBAIS University, Bangladesh) and Prof. Dr. Haripada Bhattacharjee (Vice Chancellor, IBAIS University, Bangladesh).

GUEST LECTURES & WORKSHOPS

Mr. Sunil Bedekar, Advocate Supreme Court & Director, Lawtocon International Trade Consultants delivered a talk on World Trade Organization (WTO) and on Cyber Laws.

Dr.Khawaja Amjad Saeed, Principal, Hailey college of Banking and Finance in Lahore, Pakistan in his address centered his talks mainly on SAARC activities-role of SAARC countries and Indo-Pak relationships.
A workshop was conducted by Manav Consultants on Managerial Effectiveness.
Mr. B.L.Gulati, Management Consultant presented a lecture on latest HR Practices.
A lecture on “Management Skills” was conveyed by Swami Anubhavanand ji.
A lecture on “Art of Living” was presented by Ms. Indu, renowned Psychoneuroimmunology (Mind-Body Medicine).
