The journal is to contain research papers, articles, case studies, book review, synopsis and summary of Ph.D. thesis recently completed on various management concept and practices. In addition the journal invites manuscripts covering application of theory to real life management activities where the findings would be of interest to researchers, executives, academicians and management students. The journal would publish articles from the areas such as finance, accounting, marketing, operations management, international business, information technology, environment, risk management, globalisation and related areas. Articles reflecting diversity, cross-functional nature of management and emerging concerns will also be considered for publication.

I take this opportunity to extend my invitation to you to contribute research paper(s) in the related areas.

The last date of submitting the manuscript for Jul - Dec, 2008 issue is 10th May 2008.

A general guideline for authors is listed below:

1. The manuscripts should normally be typed in double spaced or printed in 12-point font on A-4 size papers with 1.5-inch margin on all four sides. One copy and one soft copy of the manuscript should be submitted.
2. The cover page should contain title of paper, author’s name, designation, official address, contact address, phone/fax numbers and e-mail address. Also, a non-mathematical abstract of about 250-300 words should be submitted along with the manuscript.
3. Footnotes, italics and quote marks should be kept to the minimum. References should be placed at the end of the manuscript.
4. All tables, charts, graphs, quotations, equations articles should be cited accordingly and numbered properly.
5. References must be given in standard journal format. It is prerogative of the journal to publish or not to publish any references.
6. Book Reviews must provide the following details: The book title, authors, publishers, year of publication, price ISBN (If Any).
7. Articles submitted for consideration in BVIMR should be accompanied by a declaration by the authors that they have not been published or submitted for publication anywhere else.
8. Editorial decisions will be communicated within a period of one month of receipt of articles.
9. Author will receive two copies of the journal.
10. Unaccepted papers will not be sent back. Copyright of all accepted paper will vest with the journal.
